Denise has been on the forefront of the mobile and web revolution and convergence since 1994.
Denise began her career working with the earliest pioneer in the mobile/wireless industry, McCaw Cellular Communications (now AT&T Mobility) at the age of 20.
Denise led International business development efforts for the successful AT&T Wireless bid and nationwide launch of Taiwan’s first competitive PCS services with a JV partner, FarEastTone.
Denise has experience promoting both B2C and B2B mobile applications with wireless carriers and enterprise customers, and worked with various startups in the mobile space, including mobileID and SEVEN.
Denise was an early startup web entrepreneur and helped build the Web’s largest online advertising and marketing network LinkExchange, acquired by Microsoft in 1998). Denise was instrumental in helping clients, including website publishers, small businesses and Fortune 500 corporations effectively promote their businesses online through the LinkExchange advertising network, which grew to over 2 million websites. Denise’s expertise in using viral marketing tools and web analytics to test and measure the effectiveness of online campaigns (including banner ads, text links, and email newsletters) was seriously honed during her tenure at LinkExchange.
Denise also led business development efforts as part of Microsoft’s small business portal team, Microsoft bCentral (now MSN Small Business), helping launch and effectively promote ASPs and SaaS offerings to small businesses and consumers.
With an entrepreneurial itch to scratch, Denise launched her own small business providing wellness services to the expectant and new parent market in the Bay Area in 2002. Denise leveraged her guerilla marketing techniques both online and offline to build a loyal clientele and referral network of trusted medical professionals, becoming one of the leading service providers in her industry with zero marketing budget.
Denise became the Director of Marketing and Community Outreach for DayOne Centers, and supported the marketing launch of their Palo Alto retail location. Denise ran the company’s email marketing strategy, partnership referral network and ongoing customer communications strategy.
Denise gave birth to boy/girl twins in 2005. She has consulted for small business, non-profit organizations and early stage startups while striving to balance work and family life and live each day to the fullest.
