I recently interviewed the Director of Research from the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Dr. Helané Wahbeh, for a Conversation on Consciousness on behalf of The Battery Seekers Society, of which I am the communications co-chair. Dr. Wahbeh’s book on The Science of Channeling explains the scientific evidence behind the phenomenon known as “channeling”, which she describes as the process of revealing information and energy not limited by space and time. I am personally fascinated by the non-local and non-temporal aspects of consciousness and reality, which I often experience while in deep meditative states and through altered states of expanded awareness. There is certainly more to our material reality than the mind normally comprehends! I thoroughly enjoyed our engaging discussion, and I hope you do, too! Afterwards, Dr. Wahbeh leads the audience through a guided meditation exercise you can try to help you tap into your own intuitive capabilities. IONS has coined a term called the “Noetic Signature”, akin to a “Meyers Briggs test” for intuition! It explains the unique expression of your own channeling capabilities, which Dr. Wahbeh and I both believe are innate in all human beings yet expressed differently and may often lie dormant until “activated” by either intention, practice or circumstance.
